Downpour in San Diego

Fair warning before I begin: This is an attempting-to-get-my-mind-off-the-weather post. So it may be a little bit crazy.

On Sunday, I was informed that we were to expect four inches of rain by the end of the week (which is a lot for southern Cali), and just this morning, between work in the math lab and my English class, one of my friends told me that they were now expecting somewhere around nine inches (if I heard right).

Around three o'clock this afternoon, my dad called my mum, letting her know that he was on his way home and there were tornado warnings in surrounding areas. Since then, there have been sightings from University City (a community in SD) of tornadoes off the coast and in the water.

Which, of course, has been totally nerve-wracking. Truth be told, I've never seen so much rain in my life!

And there's my attempting-to-get-my-mind-off-the-weather post. Which, I suppose, helped (even though it apparently made me think about the weather even more). ;)

Ta ta, for now! :)

P.S. Thanks for enduring the reading of this random scribbling! :P
